How did you come up with the idea to open a cafe like this?
We wanted to create a beautiful immersive world of all things flowers and beauty. A place our guests could step away from their everyday norms and enter our pink paradise!
How did you decide on pink flowers as a decoration theme for your cafe and is it difficult to maintain the look?
We are constantly developing and evolving the look and style of our flowers, so sometimes this can have its own challenges. We take great pride in our image and flowers – and we love that so many of our guests do too!
What is the inspiration for the name “SASS” and when did you open the cafe?
The name SASS came from the personality we envisaged for the brand. A place of self-expression, fun and “sass”. We began creating the concept for SASS in January 2019. Then we opened in Liverpool in April 2021.
Would you say it’s a coffee place or a restaurant?
It lies somewhere between coffee shop and restaurant. But it’s definitely not your average cafe.
How popular is the street your cafe is located at?
Our location is situated in the City Centre and amongst the commercial district

To celebrate Valentine’s Day this year we gave free flowers and coffee to all the lovely single ladies in Liverpool. Sass Cafe is the perfect spot to celebrate Galentines with your best friends!
What are the most common orders for Valentine’s Day and do you prepare them specially?
On Valentine’s Day, people love to order our Nutella & Strawberry Pancakes. Our famous instagrammable latte’s are also popular, you can personalise these with an image of your choice!
